This position is responsible for coordinating assigned branch preventative maintenance (PM) service programs between customers and company territory sales/product support and service personnel to provide prompt PM service and secondary sales opportunities.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Enter and maintain service contracts Contact customers to schedule PM services accordingly.
Open work orders, search for parts, complete PM reports for PM Technicians.
Keep track of all units on rent for PM Service.
Ensure PM Service jobs are closed timely.
Send email to all PM Technicians with the next week's schedule by Friday, end-of-day.
Forward and file necessary paperwork.
Follow-up on PM services completed to measure customer satisfaction.
Answer phone calls and emails daily.
KNOWLEDGE:
The incumbent must possess a high school diploma (or GED equivalency), must be able to read and write and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Product and industry knowledge is necessary when communicating with customers and co-workers to help identify product needs.
The incumbent must possess the ability to establish a professional and friendly relationship with customers.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED:
Basic knowledge of computers, calculators, printers, scanners, fax machines, phones, and email are necessary to perform daily tasks.
Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge are also necessary to accomplish daily tasks.
THINKING/DECISION MAKING:
The incumbent must be able to become familiar with patterns and trends for maintenance intervals to meet customer needs.
The incumbent must also have the ability to decide the most efficient manner to schedule PM Service work for all technicians.
Communication is necessary with PSSRs to adjust contracts accordingly.
DECISION MAKING:
The incumbent will need to do necessary research and establish routes in the most efficient manner to accomplish all PM jobs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Hearing and speaking abilities are required to resolve issues with PM technicians when issues arise.
The majority of time is spent at a desk, in a comfortable sitting position, in-front of a computer, with opportunity to move about as needed.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The job is performed in a comfortable and clean office environment with the possibility of speaking with technicians in the shop, if needed.
